THE REIKI DEGREES/LEVELS

LEVEL I

One learns to channel the reiki throught their hands.

You learn the 5 precepts of reiki, its history and all the hand positions.

The student performs self treatments for 21 days. During the 21 days a cleansing process takes place allowing the student to balance their own energy and work on their own healing. Each student's experience is unique and entirely individual. The ability to draw on Reiki will remain with the student for the rest of his/her life.

You will receive the first degree attunement which covers four areas:

The first covers the crown chakra for more light, universal wisdom and purpose to flow.

The second connects the crown, heart and palm chakras for better functioning of the entire nervous system.

The third balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain for clearer thinking and action.

The fourth affects the pineal and pituitary glands and the brain and seals in the total process.

LEVEL II

The Second Degree attunement covers two areas.

1. You will be attuned to a higher and finer level of vibration.

2. Three of the Usui Reiki symbols and their uses will be explained.

The first symbol is used to increase the power of Reiki. The second symbol is used in emotional and mental healing. The third symbol allows each student to go beyond the physical limitations of time and space to promote distant healing.

Level II may be taken 30 days after level I.

MASTER PRACTIONER (LEVEL III)

PERSONAL MASTERY

This is the level for personal growth. It only enhances practice on others by the deep lateral view that evolves through regular practice. Reiki is a spiritual discipline which must be practised as such at this level. This means that dedication and commitment are necessary, not only to the regular practice of self-treatment, but also to the investigation of the ways of energy and the meaning of consciousness. The Master level is triggered by initiation during which the Master's symbol is implanted in the heart of the student. The seed of light grows and shines from within. Inner light burns away all unwanted emotions from the past and present, leaving a clear slate. When the light shines from within we obtain enlightenment. As long as we see the light shining on us from without then we will live with a dark shadow.

The heart must be truly ready for this and be open to the deeply sacred nature of the process.

The Master Practioner level attunementconsists of the remaining fourth Usui symbol is introduced. You will learn how to create a healing/manifestation grid and many meditations for connecting with your higherself.

The time duration between Level II and level III will be that of your choosing, you will be intuitively directed. Many students have waited eight months to three years before moving into this level. You will know when you are ready.

MASTER TEACHER

Students learn the necessary skills to attune and teach each other. You learn what to teach, the empowerment of students on all levels and assisting them in their experience of Reiki. Two Tibet symbols are also given.

Receiving Reiki is a milestone in a persons life and from the time of the attunement your life is forever changed. These changes are fully positive. Most learning from Reiki comes from doing healing s and letting the "energy" teach "you" the healer. The more you use it the stronger your abilities become.

After your attunement, I am fully sure of your abilities and have a clear knowing that all your work will be positive. Reiki can do no harm and you can make no mistakes. This is perhaps the most important reason of many that I hold Reiki in such high regard. On this I have never had a student disagree.
